A good teacher can teach you something that you will remember for a day, but a great teacher will teach you something that you will remember for the rest of your life. They can teach you the importance of trust, and being trustworthy. A teacher should also be able to recognize each student as an individual. I was lucky enough to find all of these qualities in my math teacher who taught me during my graduation days.
Neethu mam has influenced who I am as a person. She has taught me to work hard and always do my best. I would describe her as always being happy and cheerful. It was really hectic about the dry theories in mathematics but she will always bring a smile to my face. She demonstrates kindness and patience to each and every student in her class. The important thing that she has taught me is to believe in myself. When a teacher believes in you,that give you a great confidence to work hard. I hope that throughout the rest of my life, I can demonstrate the same great qualities that I find in her.
I can always go to her to seek advice, or just to have a friend to talk to. Whether it’s a relationship problem, teenage drama, a bad grade, or something that you feel that your family just wouldn’t understand, mam was always there to listen or help in any way that she can.
She uses various teaching styles in effort to reach the needs of everyone in her class. Her teaching and influences changed my way of thinking about math and later on, math became my one the most favourite subjects for which I admire her greatly. She taught me to think that everything has a practical aspect and when you are succes to find that practical sense of each theory you will start loving maths.

Great teachers set high expectations for all students. They expect that all students can and will achieve in their classroom, and they don’t give up on underachievers.
Good teachers form strong relationships with their students and show that they care about them as people.
Great teachers are masters of their subject matter. They exhibit expertise in the subjects they are teaching and spend time continuing to gain new knowledge in their field. They present material in an enthusiastic manner and instill a hunger in their students to learn more on their own.
I think as a math teacher she should make students feel that math is not difficult as they think and should teach the students the practical sense of all the equations and numbers that she deals in her class.
my strength
When i talk about my strengths i think i love to gain new knowledege and love to share it with others.
Also find happiness in dealing with doubts from students
And i think i always stress to make maths as possible as related to practical life.
when talking about my weakness i think i am weak in voice modulation and the the speed in my talking sometimes make my class very bore also i am bad in mainting a very disciplined classroom
what are the oppurtunities i got i was very weak in the teaching style i think after our micro teaching section i improved alot and got many practical aspects and constructivisom methods of teaching from my classmates.Also from the last epc we got alot of new knowledege about the importance and oppurtunties of ICT in teacher life for future
what are threats as a teacher student
i think the main threat we are facing now is we don't facility to our teaching practice session and to improve our teaching skills by discussing with your classmates.
Goals that I have for myself for the future are to ensure positive reinforcement, include as much interactive and engaging lessons in my teaching, and ensure fairness of rules for all students and classes.
